1. Acceptance of Terms

This website located at https://ruchikajharbade.com (the “Site”) is the personal portfolio of Dr. Ruchika Jharbade (“Owner,” “I,” “me” or “my”), presented in her capacities as an actress, model, dancer, dentist, AI researcher, author, founder, public speaker and content creator. By accessing, browsing or using the Site in any way, you (“User,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and by every other policy referenced in them, including the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Copyright Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, AI & Image Rights Policy, and Disclaimer (together, the “Policies”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Site immediately.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Website Purpose

The Site exists solely to showcase professional and creative work — including acting, modelling, dance, authorship, AI research, speaking engagements and entrepreneurial ventures — and to allow casting directors, brands, agencies, publishers, event organisers, media and members of the public to learn about that work and get in touch. Nothing on the Site is intended as, and nothing on the Site should be relied upon as, medical, legal, financial or investment advice, regardless of the Owner’s professional qualifications in unrelated fields.

4. Intellectual Property & Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including photographs, portfolio images, acting and modelling videos, dance performance footage, graphics, illustrations, AI research and written work, books and book excerpts, website design, source code, animations, blog articles, logos and visual designs (collectively, the “Content”) — is the original work of, and is owned by, the Owner, and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, the Berne Convention, and other applicable national and international copyright laws. 5. Trademark Rights

The names “Ruchika Jharbade,” any associated logos, wordmarks, or stylised signatures, and the names of any ventures founded or operated by the Owner (including Ovyrra AI and ShaadiFest), are used on this Site as unregistered or registered trademarks, trade names and personal brand identifiers as applicable. No licence to use these marks is granted by your use of the Site.

6. Acceptable Use

You may:

• View, browse and read the Site for personal, non-commercial informational purposes.
• Share direct links to Site pages on social media or via messaging platforms.
• Contact the Owner through the channels provided for casting, collaboration, media or business enquiries.
• Quote brief excerpts of publicly available text for commentary, criticism or news reporting, with clear attribution and a link back to the Site, to the extent permitted by applicable fair use / fair dealing law.

7. User Restrictions & Additional Clauses

Except as expressly permitted above or with prior written permission from the Owner, you must not:

• No scraping or automated crawling — use bots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers or any automated means to access, index, copy or extract Content or data from the Site.
• No AI dataset collection or AI training — copy, ingest, or otherwise use any Content (including images, video, audio, text, or code) to train, fine-tune, evaluate or build any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, including large language models (LLMs), image generation models, voice models or face-recognition datasets.
• No deepfake creation, voice cloning or face cloning — use any photograph, video, audio recording or likeness of the Owner to create synthetic media, deepfakes, voice clones, face clones, AI avatars or any other computationally generated recreation of the Owner’s identity, voice, face or performance.
• No biometric collection — extract, derive or store biometric identifiers (including facial geometry, gait, or voiceprint data) from any Content.
• No commercial reuse or resale — reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any Content, in whole or in part, including uploading Content to stock photo/video libraries, print-on-demand services, or NFT marketplaces (no NFT minting).
• No modification or derivative works without written permission, including edits, remixes, colour-grading changes, or re-cuts of video or photographic Content.
• No unauthorised re-publication — upload, mirror or re-post Content on any other website, app, or platform without written permission.
• No screen recording for commercial use — record, capture or download embedded video/audio player content (YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo) for any commercial purpose.
• No reverse engineering of the Site’s software, source code, or underlying systems, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• No framing of the Site, or any part of it, within another website via iframe or similar technique without prior written permission.
• No impersonation — impersonate the Owner, or falsely imply an affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or partnership with the Owner or any brand referenced on the Site.
• Interfere with, overburden, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure, or any related systems.

A violation of this section may result in the Owner pursuing available civil and criminal remedies, including under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and equivalent laws in the User’s jurisdiction.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Site and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Owner disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of, or in connection with, your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

10. Third-Party Links & External Platforms

The Site contains links to, and embedded content from, third-party platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, Amazon, IMDb, LinkedIn and Goodreads. The Owner does not control, and is not responsible for, the content, availability, security practices, or policies of any third-party platform or website.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable mandatory consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction, the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site. Visitors accessing the Site from outside India do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law where applicable.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, applicable law, or the Owner’s practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
